Summary

Rob has some 22 years of experience with construction cost and contract consultancies, concentrating on dispute resolution. He is a specialist in the preparation and negotiation of contractual submissions for extension of time and additional costs, and defending claims by a rigorous analysis of contractual entitlements. He is experienced in the use of critical path delay analysis techniques for the analysis of project delay and has written various articles on the subject.

He has extensive experience in analysis and resolution of commercial and contractual problems on major building, civil engineering, mechanical and electrical, highway, rail and petrochemical contracts in the UK, Europe and other international locations. Rob is a specialist in commercial and contractual audits on major projects.

Rob is an adjudicator on the RICS and TeCSA panels of adjudicators and a specialist in representing either of the parties to an adjudication including the preparation of all submissions in support and representation at meetings. He is also experienced at case preparation for arbitration and litigation.

Rob has also had numerous appointments as an expert witness in connection with delay and/or quantum matters and has had a number of appointments involving the independent analysis of the causes of delay to projects leading to the resolution of commercial disputes.

He has also attained expertise in advising clients about best practice procurement and procurement procedures and has drafted several procurement guides for Government.
