
Summary
Jim has gained 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Initially trained as a quantity surveyor in private practice, his direct involvement in dispute resolution extends to over 20 years. Jim has represented domestic and international contractors and client organisations in a wide variety of disputes involving building, civil engineering, heavy industrial and specialist electronic works. He has also been extensively involved in providing procurement advice. Immediately prior to joining Brewer Consulting he had a dual role in an international construction consultancy in charge of the Utilities and Dispute Resolution Divisions for Scotland. Jim has recently completed the LLM in Construction Law at the University of Strathclyde.
