Summary

Owen has 30 years of experience in the construction industry, 10 years of which were spent working for major building services contractors and the remainder operating as a consultant to employers, contractors and specialists. Throughout this period his specialisation has been the avoidance and resolution of contractual and commercial disputes.

This has included advising on procurement methods, vetting contract conditions, analysing professional negligence and design liability issues and dealing with a wide range of contractual claims.

Owen has acted as expert witness in a number of major disputes, has conducted numerous adjudications (on behalf of both referring and responding parties) and has delivered training on contractual and commercial topics to a wide range of organisations.
