Summary

Callum has over 15 years of wide ranging cross industry experience in civil engineering, construction, process engineering and petrochemical sectors. Over ten years specialising in retrospective delay analysis (forensic planning) on behalf of major contractors and employers.

He is adept with the most commonly used planning software packages (including Primavera P3, Primavera SureTrak, Microplanner X-pert, ASTA Power Project, ASTA Teamplan, MS Project, CS Project etc), which are industry standard project planning packages.

Callum specialises in project planning and programming, primarily providing forensic analysis and construction of as-built programmes to demonstrate the effects of delay and/or disruption on project completion. In this regard, he acts independently in carrying out the planning analysis to determine the effects of each parties' changes or defaults under the contract in operation.

Callum is experienced in using programming analysis techniques in the preparation of Expert Reports in arbitration, litigation and adjudication, as well as a tool for claims negotiation. He has been involved in a wide range of building, roads, bridges, petrochemical, process plant, marine and water treatment projects.

Detailed project planning and monitoring support is another service which Callum provides during both design and implementation phases in order to identify and manage potential difficulties and disputes before they occur. Callum has also been involved in undertaking project audits where independent reviews of extensions of time and compensation awards are required.
