We were engaged to audit and make recommendations on a live civil engineering and sewage process project with a value c£30m. Successful negotiations were entered into with the contractor to switch the contract from lump sum price to target cost reimbursable, involving speedy resolution of all commercial issues to date. This allowed project delivery to be re-aligned to the employer's requirements in order to comply with changed environmental regulations, without incurring major penalty in the form of contract damage
