We were commissioned by a major contractor to prepare and submit documented support of its claim for a 26 week extension of time. The project was a central London office and retail development with a tender value of £10m. The architect awarded a 10 week extension of time and the employer commenced adjudication proceedings in an attempt to ratify the award. We drafted the response to the referral. The adjudicator agreed with the response and revised the architect's award to 26 weeks.
